Khorfakkan Football Club announced the signing of a “sponsorship” agreement with Caltex Company for a period of one year.
This came during a press conference held this morning at – Al-Suhub Rest House – Khorfakkan, in the presence of a number of CEOs and board members from both parties and a number of dignitaries and media professionals.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Khorfakkan Football Club by Mr. Ahmed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Khorfakkan Football Club, Dr. Majid Al Kaabi, Director of Caltex Oils “Eppco Lubricants”, and Jordi Gimeno, Sales Manager – Final Lubricants for the Gulf and Middle East “Caltex”, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ammar Rashid Alai Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Football Club and Mr. Rashid Al Amiri, General Manager of “Eppco Lubricants”.
It was agreed that the “Caltex” logo would be printed on the permitted advertising places specified by both parties.
Dr. Ammar Alai stressed that this sponsorship is required to achieve greater cooperation between sports clubs and the private sector, and said: “We are happy with this cooperation that serves the interests of both parties, and the door is always open for this type of partnership.”
